This page is solely dedicated to the outdoor hunting and
fishing youth. We at Hutman's Beagles recommend taking a kid afield and
letting them experience all that the great outdoors has to offer. Of course
we encourage all kids to take the hunter education course before handling
any firearms and the added support/supervision of an adult in the field
since no classroom could ever take the place of a real life situation. While
teaching safety also make sure to teach them range, far too many adults as
well as children shoot at game well out of reach, either wounding game which
is not the sportsman's way of hunting or flaring the game which ruins the
hunt for others afield with you.
ALWAYS try to leave the outdoors a little
better than when you found it. Let's all remember that the future of hunting
and fishing depends on us getting the youth of today involved in the sport
we all enjoy so much. So please feel free to send your favorite picture of
your son, daughter, niece, nephew or grandchild hunting or fishing and I'll
get it posted on the site. The goal of this page is to have kids see
themselves and other kids' pictures on the net and boost their love for our
sport.

Hutman
Tommy with a very nice doe he shot during the 2007 Youth Hunt. He had a nice buck standing in front of the doe but youth hunters aren't allowed to kill bucks during the weekend season. Definitely the bucks lucky day, not so much for the doe!!!
